our Background
Dwight Robinson was a great left-hand bowler and a retired CPS teacher. He coupled his love for bowling and youth to become the Director of the Queen City Bowling Senate Junior Bowling Program at Madison Bowl 2010-2021, with the assistance of Hershel Chalk President of the Queen City Bowling Senate and Willie White, QCBS member and a member of United State Bowling Congress. Jeff and Rarvinnii (Venna) Ison and Rick Sims all members of the United States Bowling Congress.
DRMYL would be remissed, if we didnt mention the supportive and dedicated volunteers over the 13 years who have selflessly committed to serving the young bowlers of this community: Toni Robinson, Roya Phillips, Stephanie Phillips-Brown, Josie Evans-Phillips, Marsha & Al Martin, Dora George-Chappelle, and a host of others.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to create and implement recreational and learning opportunities to nurture young minds through the sport of bowling and mentorship.

WHO ARE WE?
Our support team consists of United States Bowling Congress certified members, coaches and BOWL.com safe sport registered volunteers.
They bring their knowledge, wisdom and life lessons to the PIT. The team is made up of; school teachers, veterans, firemen, policeman, laborers and plain ole loving grandpa's and grandma's. Most of which are retirees; in addition to a community of volunteers committed to giving our children an opportunity to be:
· Focused.
· Sociable.
· Self-Confident.
· Team Players.
They also gain physical exercise through individual and team sport participation.

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
We believe that bowling is not just a sport, but also a social activity that brings people together to share, have fun, learn and promotes community. That's why we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all youth, on all levels.
Meet our director and head coach
Our volunteers come from all walks of life. We survived our walks of life rather it was good, positive, bad, negative or somewhere in between. Through our formative years what we now call “our life lessons” we have not lost, we have either won or learned. - Nelson Mandela
Our team has history rather it be from the bowling alley, jobs, churches, neighborhoods or a mutual loved one. Through this target sport of bowling we have realized we have the opportunity to nurture and impact the children we serve, through our own lives lesson's.
Jeff and Karvinnii (Venna) Ison, have dedicated over 10 years to our program, helping children in their walks of life, rather its coaching, tying shoes, wiping tears, or giving snacks at the end of Saturday morning sessions, with the youth bowlers.
We all have a common goal that we would like to see them survive their walks of life, also.

Help Our Cause
Your donation goes directly to the children we serve by buying Shirts, bowling equipment, paying fees and travel expenses to and from events. It will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.

Our youth bowling sessions are held on only Saturdays 10am to 12pm.
The ministry @ DRMYL was taught to us. We want to give away what was given to us by, Dwight Robinson (1951-2021).
